A couple of our customers went flying at the OCMA Field. While most people who flies in that field are gas airplane pilots, our friends were able to manage flying alongisde with them using electric model aircraft.

Our very own Scott Brown, together with a couple of our regular customers visited the Planes of Fame Airshow in Chino California. They were kind enough to send us some picutres of the event. Check out photos of some amazing aircraft on our Flickr Photostream.

The PCH Crew was at the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) Expo in Ontario California. This is one of the biggest model aviation events featuing the leatest in model aviation technology. This year, with over 100 exhibitors and thousands of eventgoers, the PCH Crew had a successful show showcasing products from E-Flite, Parkzone, Spektrum and JR Radios. The event was a big success!

It was a warm Veterans Day and a perfect day for a Make and Take event at the Western Museum of Flight. Once again, the PCH Crew held a very successful event with parents and their children building models such as the A10 Warthog and the Space Shuttle. Full scale planes were on display during the event.

The weather was perfect in Torrance in October of 2009 where another Fun Make N Take Building Activity was held in cooperation with the Western Museum of Flight. The event was a success with participants building models. Featured models where the Space Shuttle and the AH-64 Apache Helicopter.

Wednesday July 22, 2009 was the “Kids Love Aviation Science Summer Program” at the Western Museum of Flight. Pacific Coast Hobbies participated in this event by providing Revell Plastic F-14 Tomcat and A-10 Warthog Models. The event was a huge success with more than a hundred participants building models. Each participant with a completed model also received a a keychain a beautiful picture of a fighter jet. More photos of the event can be seen here.
