We went flying on Sunday August 8, 2010 with the folks from the Soaring Union of Los Angeles (SULA). We went all out and took almost all of our planes from the store! More pictures can be seen on our Flickr Photostream.

This past weekend was the 5th Annual D-Man Festival at Dive N’ Surf in Redondo Beach to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The D-Man Festival was created after Dive N’ Surf employee and long time South Bay local surfer Darren “D-Man” Marsee passed away from Lymphoma in 2005. This was our first year sponsoring the festival and it was an absolute success! More than 1600 people attended helping raise over $25,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, blasting previous year’s numbers out of the water!
Pacific Coast Hobbies Sponsored the Dunk Tank. We had great people volunteer to get dunked! It was a blast.
Tomorrow’s Bad Seeds headlined with local bands Special C, Too Rude and Midnight Lamp rocking the place all day.
Pacific Coast Hobbies wants to thank everyone for coming out this year to support such a great cause and we hope to see even more next year!
