The PCH Crew had another trip to the windy city for the Annual iHobby Expo. There were a lot of exciting new products featured this year such as the Duratrax DX450 RC Motorcycle, The Parkzone Habu Jet and the Parkzone Ultra Mircro J3 Cub.

PCH @ the Off-Road Expo in Pomona

The PCH Crew was at the Fall 2009 Off-Road Expo in Pomona, CA. Bringing popular RC Off-Road Products from Traxxas, Losi and Team Associated to name a few, the PCH Crew had a blast showing all of these great products to eventgoers of all ages.

Dirty Hairy’s Backyard Bonanza 2009

Dirty Hairy’s Backyard Bonanza is an annual get together and fund raising event for fallen riders by people in the Motocross Industry. The fund raising format changed this year from riding pit bikes to Racing Nitro Truggies from Team Losi. Featured were the Team Losi 8T 2.0 and the PCH Crew was there to help set-up the truggies for the said event.

Customer’s Featured Ride No. 1

This featured ride is from Jonathan (A.K.A DJ Immortal) who is one of our regular customers. This is a fully upgraded Traxxas Revo with loads of aluminum parts from Team Integy. This truck started as a basic rtr and Jonathan just kept on adding aluminum upgrade parts into it until it. His next addition to this awesome truck will be a Mamba Brushless System.

Pacific Coast Hobbies at the Kids Love Aviation Science Summer Program (Western Museum of Flight)

Wednesday July 22, 2009 was the “Kids Love Aviation Science Summer Program” at the Western Museum of Flight. Pacific Coast Hobbies participated in this event by providing Revell Plastic F-14 Tomcat and A-10 Warthog Models. The event was a huge success with more than a hundred participants building models. Each participant with a completed model also received a a keychain a beautiful picture of a fighter jet. More photos of the event can be seen here.
ABC Hobby Genetic True 10 Scale Series On-Road Cars

Another cool addition to the variety of on-road cars that we carry in the store is the ABC Hobby True 10 Scale Series On-Road Cars. These cars are pre-built rolling chassis out of the box that comes with different classic body styles. Just add drift tires and you are ready to go sideways.
Field of Dreams 4th of July Fun Fly and Bar-b-q with PCH

It was a beautiful weekend and the PCH Crew hosted a Bar-b-q at the Field of Dreams in San Pedro, California. The crew flew everything (i mean everything) but the kitchen sink. Airplanes were flown such as the new Parkzone P51D Mustang and the Parkzone F4U Corsair. Also seen flying were bigger electric warbird replicas and some gliders as well. It was a perfect day for flying with the weather and the right amount of wind cooperating with the event.
